What does Art Club do?
Art Club is an organization of young artists here at Eastbrook High School. The point of this club is to bring Eastbrook’s creative students and art enthusiasts together. The club meets about once a month to discuss activities and put on fundraisers. Annually, we take a fun trip to a museum to see the work of some of the world’s top artists. Art club members are also given information about nice art schools and informed about art shows their work could be featured in. With a crazy leader like Mrs. Russell, it has to be good! Bottom line: this club rocks!!!
What is Art Club up to in '09 - '10?
Mrs. Russell and the officers have an exciting and event filled year planned. Fundraisers will be held throughout the year to help fund for then annual Art Club trip. The annual trip to Chicago to visit the art museum is open to all students in Art Club. Also the Art Club is teaming up with the alternative language classes to fundraise for a trip to Europe this summer. These trips are funded by Wednesday donut sales, Elder Beerman community book sales, and the yearly Art Club dance. The dance will be held this winter on February 5th. It'll be another exciting year!
