Seventeen Eastbrook DECA members attended the state conference March 9-11 in Indianapolis. They competed with 1,500 other students to place as follows:
- Katie Jones and Ronnie Crouch placed in the top 10 in Sports and Entertainment Marketing
- Abby Klouda 6th place Apparel and Accessories
- Katie Fairbanks and Allison Alexander placed 6th with their Fashion Merchandising Promotional Plan paper
National qualifiers
- Ashley Brooks and Kelsey Green placed 2nd with their Creative Marketing Research paper.
- Perry Hovermale placed:
- 1st place in Hotel and Lodging Professional Development
- 2nd place in Hotel and Lodging Promotion
- 2nd place overall in Hotel and Lodging
