Guidelines
Assignments
All art work is to be completed during art class and on time. Work that is not completed will not be graded and result in a zero. Art work may not leave the art room therefore students should use class time effectively.
Behavior
Students are expected to be courteous and respectful to other students and to the teacher at all times. Same rules apply for a substitute teacher.
No talking while teacher is giving instructions.
Students may talk quietly at their table, as long as talking does not interfere with the progress of their assignment.
Students must remain in their assigned seats during class time unless permission has been given to move about the room.
Tardies
Students are to be in their seats and ready to work when the bell rings otherwise they will be counted tardy. Tardies will be handled as stated in the student handbook.
Passes
Passes to the restroom or lockers will not be given during class time. These needs should be taken care of during passing time.
Food/drinks
Food, candy, and drinks are not allowed in the classroom. Gum will be tolerated as long as it does not become a distraction or is found on the floor, tables, etc....
Art tools/Supplies
Supplies must be used properly. If supplies are abused, the teacher may choose to not allow student to use the supplies and equipment.
All supplies are to remain in the room unless approved by the teacher.
